Like so many other British officers, Frost attended a "public school" which in the UK was really a private school that accepted students based on their academic qualities and the family's ability to pay the tuition. If nothing else, grads of t|From the Publisher|10 b/w photos|About the Author|John D. Frost remained in the British Army after the war, rising to the rank of major general. He died in 1993.
